Current status is New Zealand has relaxed to level 1.
What this means is that as a (physical) contact less business I am all systems go. I am following the Ministry of Health product handling guidelines. Essentially it is business as normal for NZ customers.
THE BIG ISSUE is INTERNATIONAL POSTAL SERVICES.
Be aware that there are very, very few flights leaving New Zealand and almost all of those are from Auckland. This is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future until international travel is revived which unfortunately is realistically a long way off (possibly as long as post vaccine availability although there may be some relief to Australia and some Pacific Islands prior to then but even that is according to our Prime Minister months rather than weeks off)
What does this mean?
Delivery to your country may take a while due lack of aircraft capacity and in many cases the need to stage it through one or more intermediary countries. At present direct flights are only to Australia, US (Los Angeles), Hong Kong and China (Shanghai). So unless you are in one of those your mail will be subject to one or more transit country.
In many countries the onward movement issues are present.
In many countries the internal mail systems are also heavily disrupted. Customers from several countries have commented on much worse backlogs than the NZ situation above.
Feedback of 5 - 6 - 7 weeks for delivery to customers from countries that used to take a similar number of days seem to be the "new normal".
There are still quite a few countries NZ Post has no ability at this time to connect to. If your Postal service cannot send at this time to NZ then its highly unlikely NZ Post can send to your country.
I do recommend you read the mail options on the Additional Mail Coverage page. Please remember that the shipping charge on the invoice from PayPal covers only International Air mail which is uncovered for loss. If the item goes missing the loss is at your expense. Given these uncertain times you may wish to upgrade.
Be aware that unless you opt for the courier option (see the Additional Mail Coverage page) there is no tracking of ordinary International Air Mail or International Air Small Packet so asking me about the whereabouts of your shipment is pointless.
If you live in a country which has suspended all international flights there is little point ordering anything from anyone overseas until your airports re-open. If you order I will not necessarily know your country is closed and will process it and it will end up sitting in the International Mail Centre in Auckland until they can move it.
Domestic customers with Rural Delivery addresses please remember to visit the Additional Mail Charge page for the NZ Post Rural Delivery charge excess unless the postage value in the cart is showing as $10 or more. Thanks.

Ordering is automated through PayPal. The PayPal order document is the order receipt and confirmation. Oldmodels Decals is a one person operation so I do NOT send further order confirmations. I will be in touch if there are any queries or issues with your order but not otherwise. If the item is shown on the website it is in stock unless otherwise stated at the top of that page. I normally ship in 1 - 3 working days. (SEE ABOVE FOR CURRENT SITUATION)
In the PayPal checkout Cart your shipping price will add up based on the sum of the individual amounts but when you go to PayPal and select the "Default Shipping" option it will adjust down to the correct amount.

NZ Post no
longer accept claims for ordinary mail that goes missing. This covers both domestic
Standard Post (NZ) and International Air.
There has also been a noticeable rise in domestic (NZ) mail going
missing as well as domestic Standard Post mail taking up to 3 weeks (sometimes
more) to be delivered.
Customers. The Shipping charge on the
invoice from PayPal now fully covers the items being sent by tracked packet - any loss is claimable. However those with Rural Delivery addresses (RD) need to go to the Additional Mail Coverage page near the top of the menu to the left to add the NZ Post RD charge - thanks. Its at the bottom of that page.

Having said that the incidence of overseas mail going missing that has been
reported to me is very low. It
is my belief that it is rare for International Air mail not to leave NZ.
You know what the mail delivery risks are in
your country, I don’t.

It comes at a considerable cost especially for smaller orders so I am giving you the choice of having your shipment covered or not. To repeat - the default is uncovered - shipped at your risk.
The decals are my own work and developed either initially for my own use (I am a modeler) or after receiving a number of requests. If you are looking for something (any NZ schemes not done commercially) please ask -it may already be on my "to do" list.
Note: The photos of decals on the web pages are deliberately low quality jpegs and watermarked to deter piracy. The jpegs sometimes show ragged ("pixelated") curves and edges where the high quality masters from which I print are smooth.
DIGITAL decal photos have the white replaced by a mauve spot colour - this allows you to see the white content. DIGITAL decals feature SOLID colours - see About Digital.
All of my range are now DIGITAL decals and have the word DIGITAL at the start of the description or at the head of the listings.
If you are new to Digital decals please read the About Digital pages before deciding to purchase.
Any decal I make I can generally scale up or down. I have done this for a number of customers to their satisfaction (see Feedback in "About Us"). This will be a custom job and may take up to 3 months depending on my next print run. Please ask.
I hold stock of all listed decals and kits. If an item runs out I will indicate that at the top of the appropriate web page. Out of stock decals are usually reprinted in the next print run - these are usually about 1.5 - 3 months apart. Resupply of kits can take longer.

Custom decal requests please use the Contact Us page. Please also note that due to ongoing issues with needing a major shoulder reconstruction I am limiting the acceptance new custom decal requests at this time other than simple re-scales of existing decals. Please feel free to ask but please understand if I say no especially for off topic requests.
OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS - The only method of payment I can take directly through this site is PayPal. PayPal is a customer friendly process that allows you to pay by credit card - you do not need to be a PayPal member to use this service.
ALL CUSTOMERS wishing to pay by other means, such as credit card (other than through PayPal), see the page on Retailers and Partners - they have a full range of payment options and can obtain from me anything that they do not have in stock. However note the prices they charge are set by them not me.
If your favourite retailer isn't stocking at least part of my range please encourage them to do so.
